In this class, we will do fun movement exercises to teach children letters, numbers, vocabulary, & body awareness.
7-WEEK SESSIONS FOR NOV-DEC!
In this highly interactive 7-week class, we will do fun movement exercises to teach children letters, numbers, vocabulary, & body awareness.
By the end of the 7 weeks, children will have a firm grasp on 7 different letters - how to write them, their sound and vocabulary that starts with that letter. They will have also had opportunities to lead the group and share their creative ideas.
At the end of the semester, the kids will show their parents some of their movement creations in a final sharing.

Meet Your Teacher
Hi! I'm Jessica. I am the creator of the Body Brain Kids curriculum.
After a 10+ year career as a professional dancer, I started working in preschools and was surprised to find that children were mostly learning while sitting still. I became fascinated with how to use movement in learning, especially when teaching more complex cognitive skills such as reading and math.
As I developed the Body Brain Kids curriculum in preschools over the course of several years, teaching hundreds of students each week, I saw incredible progress with my students. Many students were able to do complex physical and conceptual tasks after only a few months of weekly instruction. I realized that the body is an untapped, super powerful tool for learning!
What ages can join a class?
Children between the ages of 3.5-6.
How much does each session cost?
Currently classes are on Kidpass and Outschool. Prices vary according to the platform.
How many students are in each class?
Classes have up to 20 children.
How many classes a week do you recommend for my child?
1-2 classes a week is enough to give your child a strong foundation for reading and math.
How interactive are the sessions?
Children will have many opportunities to make creative choices throughout thee session and to share their ideas with the group.
